Music collective Trigger Hippy is back with their first album in five years, Full Circle & Then Some, and a revamped lineup. After the departure of Joan Osborne and Jackie Greene — who returned to their solo careers — Trigger Hippy co-founder and former Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman, along with bassist and vocalist Nick Govrik, retooled the outfit. The new lineup features Band Of Heathens multi-instrumentalist Ed Jurdi as well as saxophonist and vocalist Amber Woodhouse. The band mixes it up on the new album with shades of Memphis soul, New Orleans boogie, rock, blues, gospel and R&B. Full Circle & Then Some also features legendary harmonica player Mickey Raphael (Willie Nelson) as well as guitar and mandolin ace Guthrie Trapp.
